The theme of identity has resulted in an increased number of submissions for our magazine, highlighting its relevance within the current social and political climate. It is through exposure and discussion that identity is allowed to be further expressed and shaped. That oscillating movement of observation and reflection helps define, redefine and ultimately progress our perceptions of what identity is. Our contributors and interviewees have, through dedicating their time to create these reflections and sharing their voices, allowed for moments to occur within the magazine that we hope create constructive points of identity investigation for the reader. The layered complexity of the theme can be seen in the diversity of our submissions.
